Using the help icon¶

What this is for¶

Every screen, and every popup, drawer and panel that opens on top of a screen, has a round ? icon. It takes you straight to the part of this guide that explains what you are looking at.

Who can see it¶

Everyone, on every screen of every portal.

Where to find it¶

On a screen: next to the screen title at the top.
On a popup, drawer or panel: in its header, next to its title.

What you see¶

A small circled ?. Hover over it and it says Help.

What you can do¶

Select the ? icon.
This guide opens in a new tab, on the page for that screen. For a popup, it opens at the section about that popup.
Read what you need, then close the tab. You are back exactly where you were, with nothing lost.

Tips¶

The guide opens in a new tab on purpose, so a half-filled form is never lost.
You do not need to sign in to read the guide.
